HIRAIL THROUGH THE ROCKIES 2 - Exshaw to Lake Louise
I've been sitting on this since about 2001. It
was a fairly gloomy day (not to mention really
cold), but we did meet a couple of trains, and I
got to ride around Morantís Curve. Shot over the
cab from the bed of a CP pickup, you see the view
straight ahead, more or less as a train crew
would see it. No narration. Markers every 5
minutes.
FULLSCREEN DVD ONLY HIRL2 2 hours 3 minutes $35.95

We rode a GE AC44 on177 from Field to Revelstoke through the spectacular Rocky and Selkirk mountains, including the longest tunnel in the western hemisphere, the Mount Macdonald tunnel. Picture in picture shows different views of the train, the passing scenery and the crew.

Hear the locomotives work, in cab conversations, (some conversations have been edited

HIGHRAIL THROUGH THE ROCKIES
Field to lake Louise & Back:
Taped from the back of a CP Highrail Pickup in early June 2000 in perfect weather. No bugs on the windshield
(no windshield!), no wipers, just a straight ahead view with a locked down camera. Only problem was insufficient
light from the pickup's headlights, so I've left out the Spiral Tunnel interiors. Great snow covered mountain scenery.
Ride the Hill! No narration, on screen locations.

FEATHER RIVER CAB RIDE
From Rowlingstock Productions of Australia, we present "Feather River cab Ride". Ride the cab of a UP C40-8W from
Stockton up into the Feather River Canyon, with numerous meets, untill darkness stops the tapeing. Next day we see some
trackside views in the canyon, then at Portola, where we join an SD60M for a ride down the canyon. Taped by Colin
Eggleston, edited by Rowlingstock.
